This project was created as a unique, fully custom evolution of the Apex platform, built around a new visual identity, an advanced visor system and a completely redesigned internal structure. The new eye layout became the defining symbol of the helmet. Its sharp and aggressive shape gives the Reaper an iconic face profile, creating a darker, more intimidating and highly recognizable presence within the Apex series.

The inner structure was rebuilt from the ground up to support the visor system and the integrated electronics. The entire face section is made from glass fiber reinforced ABS, while several smaller components were produced from carbon fiber composite. Structurally, this represents the highest level of what advanced 3D printing technology can currently offer in our workshop. The fine surface textures, precise connections and functional design elements were all executed with exceptional attention to detail. The helmet is powered through a dedicated external control box, also made from glass fiber reinforced ABS. It is designed to hold a standard 3S Li-Po battery, powering all electronic systems from a single source. The controls are arranged for intuitive operation, with separate switches for the low-latency analog camera system, the LED system and the powered visor mechanism.

The wearer sees through the central low-latency camera system by default, using the internal visor display instead of direct physical visibility. With a single switch, the video feed can be changed to a secondary weapon-mounted camera system. This secondary unit is built into its own custom housing and designed to mount onto standard 1913 Picatinny rails, creating an immersive tactical POV functionality. Inside the helmet, the visor system includes a built-in diopter correction lens setup, allowing users with stronger vision correction needs to wear it comfortably without glasses. The internal structure features memory foam padding and a lockable harness system, giving the helmet a stable and serious wearable foundation.

The Apex Reaper is one of the most complex custom Apex helmet builds created by Dante’s Workshop so far. With its reinforced structure, custom electronics, camera-based vision system, powered visor and unique Reaper identity, this helmet stands as a serious step forward in the evolution of the Apex series.
